Surface Preparation:
 |
The surface must be clean, dry, and free of all dirt, grease, oil, loose paint, rust,
or other contaminants. The surface substrate should be cleaned in accordance

has reached rust grade, appropriate chemical cleaning or blasting will be
necessary.

Application Considerations:
Spray application is recommended, brush and roller are permitted. Apply in wet
coats to avoid dusting. When spraying, use a cross-hatch method, overlapping
each pass 50%. Clean spray equipment thoroughly before and after each use.
On a derusted surface the application of a dry film thickness of at least 2.0 mils
is recommended. Due to the high solids of this product, care should be taken
to not overbuild the coating. Applying too much will lengthen the dry time and
possibly result in "mudcracking" in the film. Note: When scheduling work, allow
for adequate time when adverse weather and precipitation is forecast.
