Surface Preparation:
 |
The surface must be dry and free of any contaminants that would hinder the
performance such as dirt, oils, excessive efflorescence or chalk, form release
or curing agents and any loose paint by scraping, wire brushing or pressure
washing. Masonry must be cured 28 days. Repair all structural defects such
as cracks, breaks or other flaws prior to application. All smooth uncoated
concrete must be etched with a 5% solution of muriatic acid and thorouoghly
rinsed if water beads rather than soaks into the surface. All floors should be
washed with a non-soapy detergent such as T.S.P. (Tri-Sodium-Phosphate)
and thoroughly rinsed. The surface should be checked with litmus paper or a
pH pencil to assure a pH of 7-8. If pH is not in range, the surface must be
rinsed until a neutral pH is attained. Test moisture on floors by taping a 3'X3' sheet
of plastic to the floor overnight. If moisture is present under the plastic, do not
apply sealer until moisture is eliminated.

Application Considerations:
This product can be applied by brush, roller or spray. Do not overbrush or roll
to avoid bubbling. Apply one coat over preciously coated surfaces and two
coats over uncoated floors. If previously coated floor is high gloss or a built
up coating, it is recommended to de-gloss to assure good adhesion. Do not
overbuild this coating as delamination, wrinkling, and/or extremely slow drying
times can occur. This product will not prevent tire marks from occuring.
