<<Back to Data Sheets

Product Profile:
General Description:
A specially formulated latex paint for ceilings. While any wall paint can be used on the ceiling, it is felt that this coating will better meet the requirements of a ceiling paint. It is dead flat and does not allow glare spots, provides exceptional hiding power, dries fast and can be mixed with wall texture to add a stipple effect.
Color: Off-White
Finish: Flat

Coating Systems:
Primer Coats:
Some applications might need Anchor #P-1508 drywall sealer, however on new surfaces, normally two coats of #P-150 will be sufficient. Consult your Anchor representative for specific job recommendations.

Surface Preparation:
The surface must be clean, dry, and free of any contaminants. On previously painted surfaces, be sure that stains and imperfections will not bleed through coating. New or old surfaces need not be primed unless variance in color is substantial. Glossy surfaces should be sanded or flattened by use of a chemical deglosser.

Touch up when paint is completely dry. Allow the paint to cure at least ten days before cleaning newly painted surfaces.
Touch Up:
Proper touch-up is accomplished by applying a thin coat of this product over a well coated surface using the same method of application as used to apply the finish coat, that is, spray over spray, roller over roller. If the finish coat is sprayed, it is also possible to spray a small amount into an empty container, then touching up with a foam brush. Touch up should be done within 5 degrees of the original temperature.
