General Description:
A pure 100% Acrylic Exterior Latex. This coating is effective is resisting
staining and discoloration caused by tannins in most woods. Some woods
such as redwood and cedar may contain excessive amounts of tannins
resulting in stain bleed-through. In such cases, an oil based primer such as
Anchor #1516 Sun Up Primer may be necessary.

Finish Coats:
This product can be effectively used as a primer for Anchor #3600,
#5100, #5200 and #P-300, as well as under our high gloss latex #P-700.

Surface Preparation:
 |
Paint only over clean and dry surfaces. Remove all loose paint, oil, grease,
dirt, chalk or other contaminants that would hinder the performance of the
coating. Mildew must be killed by scrubbing with a solution of a non-soapy
detergent such as T.S.P. (Tri-Sodium Phosphate), household bleach and warm
water. Thoroughly rinse affected area and let dry prior to painting. Repair all
damaged areas, and repair any cracks or splits with appropriate caulk or filler.
Glossy surfaces should be sanded. On unfinished porous surfaces such as
concrete block, a block filler should be used prior to priming.

Application Considerations:
This coating allows for brush, roller, or spray application. Always apply into
rather than away from the wet edge, overlapping each pass 50%. Avoid
touching up, rolling or brushing back into paint more than ten minutes after
applying. Touch up when paint is completely dry. Allow the paint to cure at
least ten days before cleaning newly painted surfaces.
