Description:
There are yellow or gray or brown discolored areas on painted surfaces.
Cause:
Excessive moisture.
Prevention:
- Eliminate the source of moisture.
- Do not use porous acoustic tile in areas subject to moisture (i.e. bathrooms, kitchens, etc.).
- Provide adequate ventilation (i.e. fans, windows, etc.,) during application.
Cure:
Let the affected area dry. Prime the affected area with an oil-based cover stain product, then apply the desired finish coat.
