Spotting: Plaster/Drywall Flat or Dull Spots    << Back Description: There are dull or chalky spots. Cause: The surface was not sealed with the appropriate primer or sealer. Too much thinner was added to the material. An incorrect application technique was used. Prevention: Use the appropriate primer or sealer prior to applying the finish coat. Use caution if thinning material. Do not over-thin. Apply the coating in an even and uniform manner.
